Great little impact driver
Rating: 5
I bought this as a bare tool to go with my PS31 with 2 batteries. Had it for at least a year. Just tried the impact feature. It drills holes for concrete screws fast and almost effortlessly. These two little drills have done every drill and drive job flawlessly. From assembling a large utility trailer to driving forstner bits up to 1 3/8" in hardwood, hole saws for installing door lock sets.

My second PS130 - killed the first
Rating: 4
Really good drill, poor chuck: This is my second PS130 - I killed the first one drilling a 3/8" hole into some really tough concrete. (To be fair, that same concrete had my corded Milwaukee 1/2" hammerdrill too hot to hold comfortably after 4 holes.) Obviously I like the drill enough to buy the same one as a replacement (but that is really only because the GSB12V isn't available yet and I needed the cordless hammer). I have two areas that I would change on this drill. 1: This common to pretty much all modern drills: The switch to select forward and reverse is FAR to easy to change when trying to remove something. The way my hand falls frequently pushes the switch from reverse to forward which really makes a mess when I'm trying to remove a screw. My old Makita 12V (NiCAD) drills had the switch on the left side of the grip where it was easy to move with a thumb.... but I'm right-handed. So while I understand the current ambidextrous switch I don't really like it. 2: I HATE the chuck that Bosch uses on their 12V drills! Way too slippery and with only one ring you have only the inertia of the motor/geartrain to work against when trying to loosen a bit that has been (perhaps hot from drilling) made too tight. Plus - Bosch uses a 1/2-20 thread for the chuck and as far as I can find no one makes any 3/8" capacity 1/2-20 chucks other than Bosch... That plus the recess on the front of the drill (where the chuck slides to engage the hammer function) means that unless you just happen to have a metal lathe (lucky me!) typical 1/2" chucks won;t work in the hammer function (or maybe even fit the drill at all). Did that stop me from buying a PS130? Obviously not. I'm overall totally happy with the Bosch 12V platform! I started with a PS11 angle drill - not a really robust tool, got I figured that since I already had the two 12V batteries I'd try their other 12V drills and I'm hooked. (The PS60 recip saw is probably my favorite. I haven't used my old Makita corded recip since I got it.)

Not perfect, but best drill in the class
Rating: 4
This is my 4th PS130. Maybe in this ten years. It's kind break fast, but I am okay with that. I have tough usage. Concrete, thick Metals cuts etc. Good part is I only can buy drill tool only and I don't need to rebuy battery and chargers. I wish you make 1/2" chuck and EC brashless in this. So, far this is the best.
