Most dependable Tool in my Box
Rating: 5
I bought this tool a few months back and it has been a life saver. I have renovated multiple bathrooms and have used it in the demo process and it has cut my time in half. Best of all it has saved a few years off my body and for that I am truely grateful!!!!!

Solid , great features !!

This hammer is a beast , put a Bosch Drill bit HCF2087 with this hammer drill , an it goes through 60 year old concrete like a wood bit through wood . Seriously , just the weight of tool is all that's needed . The over load clutch is a great feature !! Anti-vibration feature is awsome . Hardly any hand or wrist fatigue !! Just a AWSOME HAMMER DRILL !!

Increadable power!!!
Rating: 5
I was using a standard dewalt power drill with a cement bit in it, and it wasn't doing anything. I bought this new bosch rotohammer and it instantly drilled the holes into concrete like a knife through butter. If you are debating about spending the extra money on getting a quality tool like this, DO IT!!! Its worth every penny, and makes concrete drilling a piece of cake!!!

First Rotary Hammer
Rating: 5
This was the first rotary hammer I bought; I have used it on a number of jobs and it works extremely well. Great for removing tile work with the tile chisel and drills into concrete like it's soft wood. I've lent this to a number of friends and family member and everyone has only good things to say about it. All around a great tool.

Time and arm saver
Rating: 5
Doing a kitchen remodel, have 200 square feet of ceramic 12X12 tile to tear up thats on a concrete slab. I first started with a cold chisel and a 3# sledge. After about 2 hours my and only about 25 tiles removed I had enough. I got this and some different flat and scraper chisels, literally I was taking up tiles in seconds, and even a tile that tried to fight me still only took 10 seconds maybe. Plus I wasn't having tiny pieces ricocheting all over the place, this did a tremendous job keeping the pieces from flying around, most of the pieces came up in big chunks, many the entire tile broke free. I thought initially its going to take forever to clean up the mastic but this tool with the scraper literally has my slab as smooth as marble. I would't believe I could get it so smooth in preparation of a wood floor. Tool never bound up, never overheated and was a joy to use. I like the tool free bit changes and the retractible hook that lays up against the handle can come in handy if you are on a ladder and need to set the tool down. Could not ask for anything more, saved my arm for sure and time, couldn't tell you how much time this has saved me and gotten my concrete slab perfectly smooth, you would never believe mastic and tile was down for 24 years..

So far so good
Rating: 5
Haven't used Bosch roto-hammer products for quite a few years when I used to do Industrial Electrical work. I recently purchased for my handyman/renovation business mostly for tile removal work as well as replacement of damaged/frozen water spigots on homes, where the 1 1/8" hammer drill bit will come into benefit, so we never have to hand chisel brick openings any longer to accommodate new frost free spigots we use. Just purchased a nice set of chisel tips and drill bits for this tool as well from Bosch. This tool I purchased actually on a Black Friday special deal recently (at Lowes) where they only had 6 for sale, which were not the normal Bosch 1" max hammerdrills they sell, and this would accommodate up to 1 1/8" SDS bit , a larger motor, plus was manufactured in Germany, and reason I decided to purchase it.

Look no further!
Rating: 5
After starting a pretty straightforward handrail project, I quickly realized that my cordless drill (not a Bosch tool) with hammer function just could not handle drilling 1/2" holes in 50 year old concrete. I nearly burned up my cordless drill before giving in and buying this Bosch hammer drill. The difference was IMMENSE. I made the remaining 4-6 holes in a matter of seconds (where my smaller drill took several minutes per hole). Definitely a matter of 'the right tool for the job,' and if you are looking for speed and precision in drilling into masonry, this Bosch tool is essential. Though I do not use it everyday, I've used Bosch rotary hammer tools in the past, so I'm confident this one with stand the test of time.

Very fine tool, nearly perfect.
Rating: 4
Beautiful little tool, perfect balance between power and weight. One thing I didn't love, is the depth stop rod, which seems to hold solidly enough for now, is a little loose because of the way it is held in place (a toothed edge that engages with a spring-loaded toothed clip.) Time will tell.

GREAT DRILL/GREAT PRICE/GOOD VALUE
Rating: 5
So far I am pleased with this unit. Fairly compact for an 18V. Love the variable speed. For my needs (homeowner/DIY) I am certain it will suffice. I would recommend.

Great choice
Rating: 5
Amazing tool. I am very statisfied. It has enough power and quiter sound. The 2.0A battery is enough for hours of use. I dirlled almost 300 screws without charging again.

Nice little drill
Rating: 5
Standard (non-brushless) model, has a little burnt smell to it when running, but to be expected. Features and solid and unit is a good weight.

GSR18V-190B22 18 V Compact 1/2 In. Drill/Driver
Rating: 5
I was building a large new deck and needed a replacement drill for my Dewalt 20v cordless drill - the (2) batteries die quickly right from the time it was purchased and the drill has limited power. It is pretty close to being useless. Thought I would try the Bosch drill and it was the best thing I could have done. The drill has more than enough power and the batteries have been exceptional. Great purchase!

Perfect compact drill
Rating: 5
I now have two of these drills. Hands down a very good tool. Very tough, lots of torque to drive in 3" deck screws...light weight...only thing missing is a place to store a driver bit or 2...I epoxied a strong magnet on mine just above the LED light...problem solved...

Great gift
Rating: 5
This was an unexpected gift to replace my old Dewalt portable. I must say my initial findings are very positive. In particular I am impressed with how balanced this new gun is, it also feels lighter, and that combined with the balancing I am sure result in a very workable tool.

Well balanced
Rating: 5
The title does not just refer to it's uses as a drill and driver but the balance of the tool itself. I bought it to supplement another cordless drill with this Bosch primarily to drive screws. The great balance and center of gravity make it very easy to hold and makes keeping the alignment of the screws/bolts correct. The batteries are also very light and not just because they're only 1.5 ah but I've compared them to similar batteries.

Not Sure if I Bought a Faulty Tool
Rating: 3
I like it but it doesn't stay tight and the bit falls out. Not sure if I bought a faulty tool or if they are all like this.

It stopped working within 3 minutes.
Rating: 1
Charged the battery. It worked for 3 minutes, and then stopped. I'm returning it to the store. Considering this was a replacement for my last Bosch drill, which started sparking and smoking, I may be taking a break from Bosch for a while.

Fail
Rating: 1
I bought this new one as a backup/extra drill as I have been so pleased with my first one, which I bought about 6 years ago to replace one I had had for ten years. Just started to use it today. It is of no use. It stops drilling whenever there is very much torque demand. Is this a common problem? Frustrating as I have two drills and two ratchet drive tools all with same batteries.
