This hammer is a beast , put a Bosch Drill bit HCF2087 with this hammer drill , an it goes through 60 year old concrete like a wood bit through wood . Seriously , just the weight of tool is all that's needed . The over load clutch is a great feature !! Anti-vibration feature is awsome . Hardly any hand or wrist fatigue !! Just a AWSOME HAMMER DRILL !!

Increadable power!!!
Rating: 5
I was using a standard dewalt power drill with a cement bit in it, and it wasn't doing anything. I bought this new bosch rotohammer and it instantly drilled the holes into concrete like a knife through butter. If you are debating about spending the extra money on getting a quality tool like this, DO IT!!! Its worth every penny, and makes concrete drilling a piece of cake!!!

First Rotary Hammer
Rating: 5
This was the first rotary hammer I bought; I have used it on a number of jobs and it works extremely well. Great for removing tile work with the tile chisel and drills into concrete like it's soft wood. I've lent this to a number of friends and family member and everyone has only good things to say about it. All around a great tool.

Time and arm saver
Rating: 5
Doing a kitchen remodel, have 200 square feet of ceramic 12X12 tile to tear up thats on a concrete slab. I first started with a cold chisel and a 3# sledge. After about 2 hours my and only about 25 tiles removed I had enough. I got this and some different flat and scraper chisels, literally I was taking up tiles in seconds, and even a tile that tried to fight me still only took 10 seconds maybe. Plus I wasn't having tiny pieces ricocheting all over the place, this did a tremendous job keeping the pieces from flying around, most of the pieces came up in big chunks, many the entire tile broke free. I thought initially its going to take forever to clean up the mastic but this tool with the scraper literally has my slab as smooth as marble. I would't believe I could get it so smooth in preparation of a wood floor. Tool never bound up, never overheated and was a joy to use. I like the tool free bit changes and the retractible hook that lays up against the handle can come in handy if you are on a ladder and need to set the tool down. Could not ask for anything more, saved my arm for sure and time, couldn't tell you how much time this has saved me and gotten my concrete slab perfectly smooth, you would never believe mastic and tile was down for 24 years..

So far so good

Haven't used Bosch roto-hammer products for quite a few years when I used to do Industrial Electrical work. I recently purchased for my handyman/renovation business mostly for tile removal work as well as replacement of damaged/frozen water spigots on homes, where the 1 1/8" hammer drill bit will come into benefit, so we never have to hand chisel brick openings any longer to accommodate new frost free spigots we use. Just purchased a nice set of chisel tips and drill bits for this tool as well from Bosch. This tool I purchased actually on a Black Friday special deal recently (at Lowes) where they only had 6 for sale, which were not the normal Bosch 1" max hammerdrills they sell, and this would accommodate up to 1 1/8" SDS bit , a larger motor, plus was manufactured in Germany, and reason I decided to purchase it.

After starting a pretty straightforward handrail project, I quickly realized that my cordless drill (not a Bosch tool) with hammer function just could not handle drilling 1/2" holes in 50 year old concrete. I nearly burned up my cordless drill before giving in and buying this Bosch hammer drill. The difference was IMMENSE. I made the remaining 4-6 holes in a matter of seconds (where my smaller drill took several minutes per hole). Definitely a matter of 'the right tool for the job,' and if you are looking for speed and precision in drilling into masonry, this Bosch tool is essential. Though I do not use it everyday, I've used Bosch rotary hammer tools in the past, so I'm confident this one with stand the test of time.

Very fine tool, nearly perfect.

Beautiful little tool, perfect balance between power and weight. One thing I didn't love, is the depth stop rod, which seems to hold solidly enough for now, is a little loose because of the way it is held in place (a toothed edge that engages with a spring-loaded toothed clip.) Time will tell.

The Search is Over!
Rating: 5
Over the years, it has been so frustrating to do home projects that require a pilot hole to be drilled prior to securing with a screw because changing the bits out of the drill each time is a big pain, especially when you lose or drop them each time. I used my SwitchDriver the other day to install shelving in the mud room which required a pilot hole followed by screwing in a 2" screw. The experience was so wonderful that I decided to put the same shelving up in the laundry room. The only way to really appreciate this great tool is if you've ever had a frustrating experience with changing the bits out each time. This will solve the problem and make projects like this so much more enjoyable. Lots of power and torque behind the 20V battery too! It charges quickly and there's really no hassle at all. This is my new favorite tool by WORX!!

The Perfect case for the Perfect Tool!
Rating: 5
As if the 20V Switchdriver itself wasn't fantastic enough, now WORX, (The DIY guy's best friend) offers a package that has this perfect tool and the perfect case and perfect set of 67 bits to boot so that you can perform some perfect "Do It Yourself Magic!" Hooray for WORX for putting this package together. I had the basic Switchdriver, but I bought another with the case and 67 piece set of bits! Amazing! I save so much time with this very efficient tool that I just go from project to project, getting better all the time. I wholeheartedly recommend this complete Switchdriver package! It's perfect! If anything, I would like to see the case with bits sold separately for those of us who already had a swirtchdriver, but I use this so much, it's great to have one for home and work! God bless the WORX company!

Great Tool!

Have you ever been in a situation where you need to both drill a pilot hole and the drive a screw? I know I have more times than I can count. You had two choices - well - three actually. 1st, you could drill the pilot hole, change bits to drive the screw then repeat for as many times as necessary. 2nd choice - carry two drills, one to make the pilot hole and the second to drive in the screw. Better than choice one, but more expensive and if you are working outside or on a ladder ….well... This left choice 3. Do not drill the pilot hole and just drive in the screw. Works o.k. EXCEPT - more than once broke the screw head off: stripped the head or split the wood. Then along came this new switchdriver. Picking it up my first impression of it was how balanced it felt. With the battery in place it is very comfortable to handle. I was wondering what the guard in front of the trigger was for. As soon as I put the bits in I saw that it is there to protect your hand from the bit that is turned down. (See picture- WORX or mine). In using the Switchdriver I found when drilling in wood it is much better to drill in high speed. In metal, of course, you want to drill at a lower speed to prevent burning the bit. I note that WORX recommends NOT drilling in the lower gear for long periods of time as this may cause overheating. I did some expermenting with what the driver could do. So, with an old tough piece of 2X4 I drilled pilot holes and then put in some 2” screws. Not even an effort. I then tried putting in the screws WITHOUT drilling the pilot holes. Again, did it with no problem but I know this had to pull on the battery. Then, I switched over to trying this out with 4” #12 hex head screws. Again, with the pilot holes drilled they zipped in. Driving the screws without the pilot hole in high gear, I was able to drive them in 3 inches when the driver stopped. Keep in mind, I am still using the same battery, so the power is down a little. I then put the drill into low gear and easily drove the screws all the way in. The tool certainly has plenty of torque for everything I threw at it. I find that using the Switchdriver takes a little getting used to. I am so accustomed to changing out bits that I keep forgetting I only need to rotate the chuck, but I am catching on. I am enclosing a couple of pictures that show how I have addressed a couple of issues relating to the 1/4" bits. The Switchdriver is designed for quick changing bits which are readily available. Many of us, however, still have some of the older 1/4" and round bits. You just CANNOT use the short bits without the use of a magnetic holder. The round ones will only work if you have a chuck of the type that I show. I do not how long you can expect the battery to last on one charge, but there are two batteries so between them you should be able to go a fairly long time - plus - if you happen to have other WORX 20 volt products you can just keep going. Overall, I find this tool to be a great addition to my collection. I think you will like it as much as I do. I recommend this product.

I purchased this 67 pc. Kit to repair things at home. I used this kit for repairing broken drying machines, disassembling and assembling furniture, mounting a flat screen t.v on a wall and I will use this for many more projects for years to come. I recommend this product to everyone who needs an affordable cordless drill. This is an investment I am glad I made.

Switch driver is awesome.

I bought the switch driver recently and I am taking advantage of it's light weight and easy changing of applications. I am a 64 year old woman who was having to use my husbands heavy and complicated drill. Now my life is so much easier with the new edition to my Worx tools collection. A woman's best friend.

Awesome Drill
Rating: 5
This drill is so convenient and has good power. I've had it for a few years and still love it. The only complaint I have is that for the first few times I used it I kept reaching for another bit (drill or screwdriver) before I realized that I just had to do the old switcher-oo..haha

Thought it was a great idea when I first saw it. I had a 19.2V cordless (another brand) that the battery was starting to fail. It died one day after receiving this unit, and I was in the middle of a project!

Nice little drill, but buy your bits elsewhere.
Rating: 4
I have used this little jewel a few times and have enjoyed it quite a lot. It's lighter than my other cordless drills and plenty powerful. The batteries last a good, long time, too. The dual chucks are a great idea and make drilling pilot holes a breeze. The only problem I've had so far (and what cost this product its 5th star) is that I paid extra for bits and drivers to fit the chucks and the first bit that I used (8mm) broke off in the second hole that I drilled. I was drilling pilot holes in a pine 2x4 and the bit broke off in the second hole! Since standard bits don't fit these chucks I was back to using my old drill along with this one for the rest of the day. I love all of my Worx tools (I have four now), but I will be buying my accessories somewhere else from now on.
