The mechanism for changing heads is solid and smooth. Unfortunately, at 12v, even with the 3.0A battery, the tool has trouble driving and drilling into hardwood. It's a little disappointing in that respect. The total screws removed or emplaced is less than 100. Did not even fully discharge a single battery. The clutch on the unit was set according to the manual. The motor arced and produced smoke.
