Easily beats dewalt.
Rating: 5
I'm a millwright. My job requires strong well built tools. I was going through dewalt 20 volts drills. They would lock up and get smoked. This drill has way more power than the dewalt and takes more of a beating.

Strong drill
Rating: 5
This drill is stronger than most electric drills I've ever owned. The electronic clutch doesn't give me the feeling of anxiety that I'm destroying my tool like the conventional clutches do. I am a contractor and use this every day. So glad I went with Milwaukee.

Honestly, a well made drill is an understatement

I do both residential and commercial almost 7 days a week, most weeks. I have switched over about a year ago to Milwaukee from a big orange colored tool line. Can't say I have regretted it once. I just feel like I don't really treat this thing well...tossed in the work van constantly. this drill is better to use daily and charges fast, battery of course last plenty long enough for what I do. Sometimes lasting over a couple weeks no problem. NO kidding I love this product. It's made to go to work, not just look at

Long time user.
Rating: 5
Hi, I have been using Milwaukee drills for a long time. I was a lineman for 20 years, and I have to tell you guys that I had to pull an electric drill, cord, and bolts and tools up poles in an easement to frame up new builds. Any time I could lighten the load I would. My old Milwaukee drill was a badass and I would not have gave it up for anything. If I would have had this little power house I think it would have been a great substitute. The short amount of time that I've had my new drill it has kicked butt. Very powerful and built tough. The battery lasts, and charges quickly. Just feels good in the hand. Nice product, thanks Milwaukee.

First drill and love it.
Rating: 5
I'm a women about the house, living in the back woods, love the cordless and how long the battery lasts. Easy to change bits and drills. Plenty of power for my projects and repairs. Was recommended to me because of quality construction and durability.

Great for DIY use.
Rating: 5
Bought this in a set with a impact driver. Out performs the dewalt I had hands down. I have a couple of 5.0ah batteries and they last very well and the drill and driver keep power up until the battery is completely dead. One flaw I have noticed is the drill and driver both seem to have some glitch where it randomly doesn't work as if the battery is dead. If you unhook the battery and reconnect it then you are good to go. Other than that this drill is great.

It's not an upgrade from the 2703.
Rating: 4
I blow up my 2703 drilling out bore holes with a 7/8 ager bit. Still trying to find a place to get it rebuilt. Got the 2803 from work and its good, but the torque is just not there it's a good all around drill, but the hammer mode is not the best my 2703 would drill out holes for z nails and plastic anchors in concert and want more. The 2803 gets hot after drilling out 4 aluminum studs 1"1/8th holes for wire. Over all it is a good drill for work. Just have to watch the temperature gauge...lol.

I would buy this again
Rating: 4
Being an electrician can I drill lots of holes into metal wireways (cans troughs etc). This drill works well and I rarely have any issues. The 1st speed is just the right rpms to effectively drill holes with a 1 1/8” hole saw without burning them out.

Don't consider this an upgrade from the 2703 drill
Rating: 2
We use a lot Milwaukee Fuel tools at our manufacturing facility. We bought several of these new drills to see how they perform against the one they are replacing (2703). We are disappointed, it seems Milwaukee backed down some on the Heavy Duty quality. When we are threading steel plates they run out of torques quicker. In a place where the 2703 would just dig in and keep on going, the 2803 just stops, it seems the electronic torque setting is too low.

Problems once again with the new drill driver
Rating: 1
I am going to be as honest as I can be, I am going on my 3rd replacement drill and this one so far has been the worst. The clutch(torque) setting on number 2 with the low speed set on #1 is snapping screws behind the hinges when I'm setting doors, clutch does not break free. When I press the trigger to start drilling intermittently the drill does nothing until I release and re- engage the trigger . This is a brand new tool

Great drill
Rating: 5
This handheld drill is fantastic. It charges quickly and holds the charge for quite a while. Another great aspect of this drill is that it comes with two batteries. So you will always have a backup ready. I used my drill to hang up my family photos throughout my house and it was extremely easy. I've used other drills in the past and I've never known when the battery was going to run out. A beautiful feature about this is that on the drill itself it gives you a battery reader to let you know how much life you have left. This girl is great for men and women and I would highly recommend it to anybody.

Little Powerhouse
Rating: 5
I have been needing a new power drill for quite some time. My old one would not hold a charge for long and it was big and heavy. When I saw this drill I thought it would be a great fit and it was. My first project was to install a full motion wall mount for my television and then install a glass wall shelf for my DVD player. The battery was already charged when I put it on the drill so all I needed to do was get started. I took a picture of the size of the drill in my hand so that others can see how compact it really is. As a woman I want it to work and not be worn out when I'm done. This drill is perfect for those who want lighter weight tools that actually work as hard as the heavier ones. This drill was able to drill a hole into some pretty thick hard wood. I thought I was going to have to get my big electric drill but it pushed through and finished drilling the holes for both jobs. I love the smaller size, the light helps when drilling in dimly lit areas, and that there are two batteries so you don't have to stop a project because the battery died. I also like the extra power you get for drilling holes compared to putting in screws. There is also a 2 setting to give it extra power for those hard to drill materials, like the studs in my walls. It's definitely worth a buy and it fit in my old drill case so I didn't have to go buy one.

my very own drill
Rating: 5
WE are in the middle of a few major home renovations and I love having my own drill. As we go about renovating my parents old craftsman house, I can work in really tight spaces and don't have to worry about a drill cord. The best thing ever is cordless!

Powerful, Useful, and Handy
Rating: 5
This drill by Porter Cable has the proper weight and power for a professional style product. It's a very powerful tool. I highly recommend. Price for this type quality cannot be matched. It feels more powerful than other drills I have at home. I wrote this review as part of a contest.

Great drill
Rating: 5
I have owned other Porter Cable drills dating back to the 12V days. The new drill (607) is lightweight and holds a charge a lot longer. Was concerned with the power...not a problem. Only concern is the chuck...hope it holds up. Have had the drill a year and so far, so good. I use it almost daily. Too bad the plastic case is not included any more. Would recommend this drill for most jobs but I use a corded Hammer Drill for concrete, etc.

Durable, quality drill great for homeowner project
Rating: 5
Excellent quality, durable drill. Relatively lightweight, but powerful. Batteries last a long time at least compared to other drills I have owned. The light is handy when working in dark areas. I also like the battery indicator so you know how much power is remaining.

Great all purpose drill
Rating: 5
Just received this drill recently as a gift and already put it to good use installing some cabinets and shelves in the garage. The drill has nice power and the battery life is excellent! One thing I noticed is it's seems to have more torque than a different cordless drill I have. I would recommend giving this a try.

Awesome All-Purpose Drill
Rating: 5
This is a really great all-purpose drill that is very handy to have around the house! Using it is easy enough for a beginner, but it also has capabilities that any level of skill can appreciate it. Battery lasts a while and also love how compact it is! Would recommend! I am a Walmart associate writing this review as part of a contest.

Porter Cable 20v very compact drill-driver
Rating: 4
Porter Cable 20 volt drill driver #PCCK607LB includes two batteries with 1.5Ah capacity and one charger. This Porter Cable 20 volt drill driver is more powerful, smoother and balanced than my 5 year old Ryobi 18 volt drill driver. Handle is more rubbery and comfortable. As with most drills today, they include 2 speeds with 22 drill modes and ½ inch keyless chuck. One of the most important things I like is how it is almost as compact as my Ryobi 18 volt impact driver which is really nice. In the past, I had situations where I could not use my drill driver but with this one it should not be a problem anymore because it is very compact as I mentioned. I did not time how long it takes to charge the batteries, but it is quick enough and because there are two included, you can always use one while the other is charging. I am not a fan of the charger that clips on batteries, instead I prefer the batteries seating into a charger. Porter Cable also comes with a belt hook-clip which can be installed on either side of tool which is a very nice feature that my old one doesn’t offer (very useful when working on a ladder). Another feature I like is that led light stays on 20 seconds after you release trigger. It is very disappointing that a carrying case of any kind was not included because the drill driver is one of the tools that is most carried. It is also used more than any other tool and in my past experience, every other manufacturer includes some type of case with their products. Overall, the Porter Cable drill driver kit is a great value especially for homeowners.
