outstanding performance
Rating: 5
I had purchased a lithium ion rechargeable right angle drill first. I returned it due to a bad batch of batteries making it useless. Going with a corded drill made a lot more sense to me because there is no recharge time and no bad battery problems. After all once a tools batteries are no longer supported it's time to chuck it in the trash. This drill is great heavy duty well built and high performance. Frankly it fits the bill perfectly, these are great tools and will definitely buy more.

Must Have Tool!!!
Rating: 5
If you are an electrician you must own this tool! I was skeptical at first that this would hold up to the abuse of drilling larger holes. This tool exceeds my expectations in every way. I have several M18 tools and this is far and away my most valuable for the work I do.

Hole Hog, keeps on going
Rating: 5
great tool, it is heavy to use, but that is part of it be a Milwaukee tool, they are all very well made. The fuel motor runs well, and has lots of power. We liked it so much, we purchased a second hole hog. The 5 amp battery has lots of life, for this tool.

Just what I've wanted/needed.
Rating: 5
I'm an electrician and have been using the original hole hawg and have wanted to upgrade to the super hawg but couldn't justify buying it when I only drill 1" and 1-1/4" holes most of the time. Long story short I drilled almost every hole for a 2200 sq Ft house on 3 batteries. Not only does it drill as fast as the hole hawg but having it be 4lbs lighter is exactly what I've wanted. On one battery alone I drilled roughly 170 1-1/4" holes through TGI floor joists. I do have to say that I notice a difference between the XC and XC 4.0 batteries, with the 4.0's being better. I recommend only using those with this drill. If you've got some Milwaukee battery tools already you have to add this to your lineup, and if not this is a great place to start.

Fuel 18v hole hawg

I don't regret buying this tool, but i was hoping for some better performance. Its definitely not as powerful as the corded ones but that's expected. I was hoping for more power out of it though(i think my dewalt brushless might be more/as powerful). It kinda bogs down on the really long bits when going through multiple studs.I wish it had a high/low speed like the corded ones do. It came with two 4.0 batteries which I think is a horrible idea. I can't get through a whole house with those 2 batteries. It definitely should have come with 5.0 batteries. I talked to the rep and he said they were planning on packaging it with 5.0 later in the year, so who knows. I wouldn't use the drill with anything bigger than 7/8' bits personally unless its the short length ones, but that's fine since i don't need anything bigger than that for what i use it for usually. I like the compact size of it. It's smaller then my Dewalt brushless drill. Especially if you take off that handle it gets into much tighter spots. Ive only used it on wood studs though. I bought the quick change version, but if i could do it again i would do the style with a chuck key just for the fact that you can use more bits. All in all i would buy it again, but would definitely get the 5.0 battery version if that kit does come out.

Nice tool
Rating: 4
Hello guys , this is a nice tool it can drill about six studs deep any more than that and you will be getting your corded one to back out the bit and finish the hole. It has very good speed, Battery temp definitely affects the drill performance. I drilled a first floor of a 2000 square foot home it took 3 fully charged batteries. All and all nice tool but with no low gear I would not sell your corded one yet.
