Awesome hammer drill
Rating: 5
Used with Bosch 4 1/2” hammer bit and had no difficulties drilling holes in basement concrete walls and attaching 2x4’s with Tapcon screws. Easy to load and use. Avoided cheaper hammer drills where reviewers noted burnout issues after just a few holes. Very glad I did. Fifteen holes so far and drill and bit still working smoothly.

Easy Drill/Hammer
Rating: 5
Great tool. Will be great to use on a couple more projects I have. Easy to use and not so heavy or loud as some I've seen. Drill and Hammer action works great...put in sump pump - great tool.

Absolutely a must have

I bought this a month and I am happy that I did. Super useful

Loved the Rotary hammer.

It’s amazing! Drilled through 4” of concrete in less than 15 seconds.

This tool earns its name (bulldog)

I bought it a week ago to remodel a basement bathroom floor (ceramic tiles) under which the heating cable went bezerk. It ate through the tiles (and when I learned the gentle way: taking them in one piece) and the wire and the auto-levelling concrete in less than a day (80 sq-ft). Works like a charm. I was surprised by the low level of dirt it created.

Works like a Champ!

I used this rotohammer to remove mortar from a river rock patio and long walkway. Spent three days chipping tons of cement off of rocks and braking up the patio. Great machine for the $! Light and easy to use and maneuver. Basically a pro by the time we were done with that project and met all my expectations.

fast and easy

Needed something to remove tile and mortar from the floor. Hammer and chisel was slow and involved lots of labor. I'm getting up in years and don't care for working on my knees for long periods. What took three hours to do with the chisel took about 30 min. to do with the rotory hammer.

Makes drilling holes in cement a breeze.
Rating: 5
I had 130 holes to drill to anchor large storage racks in a warehouse. My old hammer drill had trouble drilling the holes and went through many bits to get 20 holes done before dying. This hammer drill with an SDS drill bit for either 3/8" or 1/2" holes was recommended to me. I could not believe how easy it drilled the holes. I only needed 1 of each size bit to get the job done. It drills the holes effortlessly.

Wider choice of bits
Rating: 4
Have used Bosch tools over40 years in the commercial heavy construction industry. This one is not as heavy as past tools, to me means possible lack of performance and penetration. Need a larger choice of bits, can't find the "bush" hammer bit I used. The "SDS" is possibly great, I prefer the old ones. But, it is still a Bosch and I am a dedicated user of Bosch tools. Thank you for all the years.

perfect for home projects
Rating: 4
Ideal tool to have on a HVAC truck for drilling thru concrete walls or basement floors. SDS Plus saves me time spent on the job and i do not have to worry about burning thru several batteries on my cordless. I purchased this on the recommendation of several of my HVAC colleges and happy to use it daily

Solidly built, works well
Rating: 5
I have only used this tool to drill about 20 holes in concrete but it has performed spectacularly so far. Plenty of torque, solidly built and does the job well.

Excellent value
Rating: 5
Needed to sink 5/8" anchors, 2" into concrete. Worked great1 One minor flaw: the depth gage is plastic and vibrates so wlidly that it is useless. This one plastic part cheapens the whole tool. Excellent hammer drill otherwise.

Great features
Rating: 5
This is a fantastic hammer drill that gets the job done effectively and cost much less than the one with the battery. I would also like to add that it has more power use of rpm than the one with the battery from what I see in retail stores.

All the power you need

I bought this hammer drill a month ago and have used it for several projects. The first one to drill 2 1/2" deep x 3/8" diameter concrete anchor holes for a storm shelter ceiling/ front porch concrete base. I dreaded doing this project but this hammer drill made the project a breeze and fun to do. Ergonomically it fits my hands perfectly. I was very impresed at the speed and ease of use. One thing I would prefer is a steel depth gauge instead of plastic.

My Go to Hammer Drill
Rating: 5
I have owned this hammer drill for years. Over that time I have drilled several hundred holes up to 1/2" in diameter for anchor bolts to 5/32" holes to use Tapcon screws. It has NEVER failed me and ALWAYS got the job done. Like one reviewer wrote the bit can come loose in the chuck. No big deal and I chalk it up to not having it tight enough.

Really happy with it!
Rating: 5
Bought it primarily to drill a bunch of holes in concrete and it worked like a champ.A great tool for the money.

Works preaty well
Rating: 4
The drill works good for what I do every day I mostly use it for drilling holes for my tap cons. The only thing I don't like so far is the chuck key is made out of to soft of metal I have broken about half my teeth on mine

Heavy Duty
Rating: 4
I have just received this from Amazon a couple of days ago, so to be fair I can't say a lot about this drill yet! It is heavy built and seems to be well made, but I have not had the chance to use it yet. I'm a little concerned that the hi-lo gear change does not take place when you turn the selector knob until you actually turn the chuck after switching gears! Not sure if that's normal or not? Only time will tell.

Smoke after 6 weeks!
Rating: 2
I used that drill to do some renovation in my basement. After only 5-6 times, it started to smoke. The tool is powerful, but doesn't last, even for a residential use. I do not recommend this tool.

Not what Bosh tools used to be!
Rating: 1
Quality of parts not made for everyday use. Ideal for showcase because they look good! Even with light use, it overheats Brush holders made of plastic melted, no replacement parts and no warranty This is my third Bosch impact drill ( and my last) so i have seen first hand the quality drop in each new products
