We bought a cordless hammer drilll to use in our Dairy whenever there is a bracket loose or we need to tighten something into concrete it is the answer and the life of a battery is incredibly long thank you Bosh

Like Butter...
Rating: 5
As an installer in the telecommunications industry, I use this tool minimally at least two, three times, on a daily basis. I use it to poke 3/8" to 1" holes (12"-24" deep) through layers of brick and concrete to pass wires through... Over a year now this has been my favorite drill so far. Fairly light, rugged. Works like a champ. I have 2 batteries and power is never an issue. The drill delivers steady power and goes through solid brick like butter. Has not failed me yet, after others did with the same type of use/abuse.

Amazing Drill!
Rating: 5
We were looking for a decent drill for day to day work in Petroleum Installations. I was at first a bit concerned about this drill being cordless especially when needing to core 40mm holes etc through walls. This is by far the best drill we have ever used. Our corded drill is the backup to this drill. Even in hot weather it just goes and goes.

extreamly powerful

Used this to drill holes in rock to set land surveying working points. This drill worked even when it was set in the wrong mode; running the drill counter-clockwise! The drill is small enought to be carried all day throught thick woods without trails in additon to carring other equipement.

Monster
Rating: 5
I too am a land surveyor, and I not only drill rock and concrete, but also to hammer through frozen ground. It's a monster, and the only tool I have that goes through it, and effortlessly. A 1" wide chisel bit does it best. Since I have to carry other stuff, I run a strap through the handle and over my shoulder. Wa-lah!

The best tool to drilling 5/16"x10"+ holes in rock
Rating: 5
I bought this 36V Bosch-11536VSR Rotary Hammer Drill to replace my 10+ year old Bosch 24V NiCad power drill 11225VSR, which has served me well drilling 5/16x10"+ holes to crack rock with my 'ezebreak.com' tool, some times in very remote places, including deep inside a caves, to help access unexplored passages! It would have been nice if the new drill box had had a couple places to securely store very long SDS drill like the old box does. At least the new drill (- the charger) will fit into the old box if needed. The Bosch Rotary Hammer Drills are simply the best tool for drilling holes in rock or concert!

my trophy tool
Rating: 5
I'm finishing a 1700 sq ft basement, needed something that could drill through concrete floors to anchor the framing studs. I tried the hammerdrill, but soon decided I need something dedicated for the job. I didn't regret. This made achoring a lot faster and easier, as I had to make a lot of holes, you just turn it on and let it sit on the concrete, they it cuts through it like a butter. Battery lasts forever too. I have been a fan of Bosch tools for 15 years and this is the latest addition, and it didn't disappoint.

Works great
Rating: 5
We have used many different types of hammer drills over the years being a mason contractor and this one is clearly one of the best. We have had the drill for over six years now and while the batteries have lost a little longevity, this tool has gotten so beat up and still works as good as ever. Still haven't had to replace a single part on it or take it to a repair shop. I would highly recommend this for any professional that has a lot of holes to drill in masonry/concrete walls.

Great Tool!

Doing a new aircraft control tower and this is a life saver. I don't have 10 stories of cord, nor do I want 10 stories of cord. Tool works as well as my corded Bulldog and isn't very much heavier. Battery lasts most of the day setting hollow metal frames.

The OLD is excellent so will the NEW be.
Rating: 5
We owned a VERY old Hitachi 1 1/2" hammer that finally quit that was nearly identical to this new drill. The old was excellent. I discovered the reputation of the new one is equally excellent and superior to any other brand on the market. So why change? P.S. The new tool's work has just begun. I have had this for several months now, and have used it to demo walkways and a fire place. Works great! Also used it to core a 2" hole through a 18" thick masonry wall. Highly recommend this tool!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
