thoroughly pleased

i bought this hammer drill to drill holes in a giant rock in my cellar and then use wedges to split the rock. with the Bosch concrete drill bits this thing goes into the rock like drilling through wood. i could not be happier with this tool. also got an accessory flat blade bit and now when i dig in hard clay i use the hammer drill and a hand pick is a thing of the past. this tool is great and i really mean that. its effortless to use.

I have had my hammer for over 4 years now and I do professional demolition work. It keeps me going when others are in the repair shop. I am a very hard person to please when it comes to tools and this one is a great one. I have never had it let me down and have done some big jobs with it.

Good purchase

Used this tool about 5 times, once to drill into concrete, and the other 4 times to remove tiles and thinset. Great tool, I bought it because of its size, I didn't want a bigger demolition hammer because of 2 reasons: so that I don't damage the plywood subfloor, and to not injure my back after hours of opperating a heavier tool. I think that I made the right choice, although I'm sure that I would've got the job done much faster with a bigger demo hammer.

Always comes through

I LOVE my rotary hammer drill ... it has never failed me and punches holes in concrete as if it was butter. I drilled 50 1/2" holes 4 inches deep into a concrete slab in 1 hour, such a time saver for my business. Solid and rugged, just what a professional needs for the job site.

This tool takes the work out of the job when removing old tile flooring as well with some concrete chipping around the drain areas of tubs.

Great little tool !

I have been using this tool for over a month. All day, five days a week. I am very happy I bought it.  So is my boss because it saves a lot of time. I mainly use it to chip tiles off bathroom walls of drywall, plaster, concrete, and cinder block. Usually glued on but sometimes thinset, which is a pain ( for thinset I use a 3/4" chisel ).  Drywall can be very tough to save if there is not enough support behind it but I found that if I pair it with the Bosch 1.5" Tile Chisel I have a better chance.  You just have to not use any of your own strength to push under the tile and just let the tool do the work.  One kick on the side, and those tiles just pop like popcorn 🙂 I have found that after running the tool for a while ( I'll guess an hour straight ), when I press up against something to chip, it will just vibrate for a second or two before removing a part of the tile.  It looses it's "kick" which is slowing me down, and not doing the amazing job that it usually does.  Once I come back from a break, it's working fine again. When this dies, I'm buying another one.

Best hammer drill that I purchased
Rating: 5
Easy to use. More comfortable then other brands I have used in past. Replaced my Bosch one that broke after 2 years. Mostly use for setting metal post in concrete slabs. This drill saved time and money doing so. I have experience with all brands on the market have been in this field for over 30 years. I'm planning on purchasing other tools from company to replace the older ones I have.
