Best hammer drill that I purchased Rating: 5 Easy to use. More comfortable then other brands I have used in past. Replaced my Bosch one that broke after 2 years. Mostly use for setting metal post in concrete slabs. This drill saved time and money doing so. I have experience with all brands on the market have been in this field for over 30 years. I'm planning on purchasing other tools from company to replace the older ones I have. by on 2020-07-25T17:00:00 Rating: 4

| Vaccum too large Rating: 3 We use hammer drills extensively and daily on large construction sites, mainly for piping suspensions. We almost exclusively use Milwaukee machines, except for hammer drills because of there has not been any good integrated dust vacuums. We mostly drill concrete with 1/4-5/8 bits, often overhead into ceilings, often hundreds of holes in a day. Dust extractors are a must for us. So we where exited about the new drills with dust vacuums as we have high trust the Milwaukee machines and prefer to use one battery system. We also have good experience in the efficiency of several small Milwaukee hammer drills, both corded and un-corded, in situations where vacuums are not required. We bought both the 1" model and the 1-1/8" 18V Fuel, both with Hammervac attachments. Unfortunately, the drill-hammer and vacuum combo is big and heavy. Our employees simply reject them without really trying them out, because of weight and size compared to our Makita BHR243 with DX02 (we have around 10 of them in daily use). For us the new Hammervacs are too big and heavy compared to competition (Makita, Hilti and DeWalt). by janaf on 2015-06-09T17:00:00 |
