This is my second Hitachi lithium ion tool. My first one was an impact driver purchased two years ago that is identical to this drill. I use the impact driver everyday in a heavy truck repair shop. It gets dropped, exposed to grease and is used hard but keeps on going. This drill is holding up just as well. Very dependable. I also like the ergonomic grip.

Doesn’t stay charged very long

Wasn’t please with battery life I can use it lightly works grate but for a builder do not buy it won’t last and have to have another drill on stand

I am a home improvement contractor. I use a screw gun/ drill constantly. This product is a good size and weight. fits the hand well and is designed for use. everything is easy to find or push. The price is right, I cannot comment on how well it holds up it is to soon ask me in a year. the battery charger is a little hard to understand at first as to when you are charging or charged. The torque speed is lacking but so far that has not been an issue. I have had all the big brands. I went to Rigid because of their lifetime guarantee. I now have two tools that I am trying to get repaired. One was only 3 weeks old when it went bad. Rigid has been uncooperative in honoring their guarantee plus they no longer guarantee their batteries. and that is what goes bad most often. For this reason I have moved and I am going to stay here. Dewalt dose not give a good guarantee and their batteries don’t hold up. Makita is a great tool but again no guarantee and pricey.
