Takes the effort out, As designed.

Chips concrete with ease and makes digging fast and efficient. Cord is well sized, tool is not to heavy, vibration is reduced to prevent fatigue during long use, tool speed control is useful and helps when doing delicate work. Good tool to have on the truck, well worth the money, thanks.

perfect tool for our projects!

The purchase of the hammer was a group decision. My co workers and I were so happy with the toughness of the product that we decided to purchase a second one!

Just terrifical!

I've used this so far to chip blocks of ice from after winter snowfall has melted onto my walkway (a non-snow aware builder from sunny LA designed the bermed house I rent in the Colorado Rocky Mountains with a metal roof, so 4-6" of snow means up to 2'-3' of heavy dumped snow on the entire walkway just to get to the door after coming back from any trips. And being in the mountain's shadow means no sun for 5 weeks a year, and inevitably, a layer of thick ice forms at the bottom. This makes breaking it up a piece of cake. (those with concrete walkways will have to watch out for breaking up your walkway though!) I also used it to compact soil and sand for a deck base instead of a big thumper. My little outdoor hot tub has stayed level for over two years now. : )

Great Product

The company I worked for dealt exclusively with Bosch tools due to their striking power and durability. You will not find a rotohammer better than this one for the price. It is comparable, and in my opinion better than any Milwaukee or Hilti on the market. I've used Hilti and they do not have the anti-vibe handle that Bosch offers. Having that feature is a great asset, especially for repeated drilling or chipping.

cuts my work down a lot

I just bought this yesterday so I could dig hard clay soil I did nine feet by hand with a pick ax took me two weeks to get the ground ready for cement, I used it today took two hours to rip twice the amount of soil plowed through it like butter, the only problem is digging the soil to dump it,

the right tool for many jobs

Bought this rotary drill one year ago for drilling fence post holes into lava rock. Worked great using a portable generator in the field. It also was perfect for removing tile in a bathroom remodel, for hammering through concrete slab and light rebar in the home to move water pipes. This tool is amazing and very useful for demolition projects (and Hawaii fence posts).

Just what I need
Rating: 4
just bought this unit so haven't had a chance to put it through it's paces fully yet, but just from testing it out it will definitely handle what I need it to do. Stripping stonework, small area plate tamping, and of course, drilling concrete. Pricey, but worth the money.

GBH2-26 SDS drill
Rating: 5
When my old sds drill gave up the ghost and being well satisfied with other Bosch tools I immediately looked at what Bosch had to offer. I was not disappointed, the drill addressed the reason my old one failed that being if the drill grabes it can twist your rist and it crunched the gear box, one piece of scrap. It performs well when used in chisel mode and as a drill and hopefully give many years of service.

Had borrowed model 12255 VSR from nephew for isolating basement. Just loved it : job was so eay going through ciment foundation. Decided to buy item, but picked GBH2-26, thinking it could be newer replacement model for former 12255 VSR. It was not so. However, still extremely please and impressed with GBH2-26 too. Must isolate underneath garage excavated area and this tool will be but to excellent use. Goes in like butter!! Numerous descriptions are a bit confusing, though.

CONFUSED
Rating: 1
I spent some time trawling through websites trying to decide on what replacement drill to buy. The terminology and model descriptions can be vague, and I made the mistake of purchasing this Bosch Model GBH 2-26. I discovered a huge difference between that and the GBH 2-26F which is the quick change chuck, allowing standard drill bits to be used along with SDS.
